Ivan Spicer was born on August 22, 1951 in Austin, Indiana to the late Nacy and Frances Huls Spicer.
He was united in marriage to Jean Bird Spicer who preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter; Debi Bailey and husband Gary of Versailles, Kentucky, three siblings; Roger Spicer and wife Suzy of Austin, Indiana, Rhonda Gray and husband Gary and Janice Mitchell, both of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by two grandchildren; Brandon Bailey and Matthew Bailey and wife Ashley, as well as two great-grandchildren; Kylie Ann Bailey and Emmalynn Bailey.
Ivan was a 1969 graduate of Austin High School and received his bachelor's degree from the Community College of the Air Force. He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force having proudly served his country in Vietnam as a member of the Security Police. Ivan attended 1st United Methodist Church of London.
Ivan Spicer departed this life on Monday, December 13, 2021 being 70 years, 3 months and 22 days of age.
Funeral Services for Ivan Spicer will be conducted at 12 Noon Saturday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with Sean Ryan officiating. Burial will follow at the West London Cemetery in London.
