Betty Jones, age 79, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
She leaves behind her daughter, Angel Jones & Dane McGraw of London, KY; her sister, Nettie Whitehead of London, KY; two grandchildren, Donovan Durham & wife Elizabeth, Zack Johns, all of London, KY; two step grandchildren, Emma McGraw and Seth McGraw of London, KY; two great grandchildren, Henry Durham, Maggie Durham, both of London, KY, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Jones; her parents, William and Lena Lawson Sizemore; and seven siblings, Kathleen Johnson, Cleo Curry, Lillian Taylor Ledington, Mattie Demerest, Georgett Curry, Pearl Hoefield, Gilbert Sizemore.
Betty was retired and previously worked at American Greeting Cards for 15 years. She attended Soul’s Harbor Church in London, Kentucky. She loved her family, was full of spirit, and lived life to the fullest.
Funeral services for Betty Jones will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bro. Brad Parrott and Bro. George Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Gilbert’s Cemetery in London, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 10 2021 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
