Joyce Sawyers, 67, of Manchester, KY, passed away Thursday, January 7th, at the Baptist Health Hospital in Richmond, KY. Joyce was born in Cincinnati, OH on December 19, 1953, a daughter of the late Irvin and Mildred Baker Davidson.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Sawyers, and her daughter, Mona (Charles) Davis, both of Manchester.
Joyce is also survived by two sisters: Barbara (Mendle) Barrett of Manchester, and June Dupper of South Carolina; by the following grandchildren: Tyler (Megan) Gibson, Jacob Gibson, Kristopher Gibson, Kaitlyn (Bradley) Davidson, and George Houston Gibson; and by 3 great-grandchildren: Ethan Gibson, Kinsley Gibson, and Avery Davidson.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 10th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with James Davis officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Mission Cemetery on Laurel Creek.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 9th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
