Agney Gilbert, 93, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away Saturday, October 17th, at the Shawneespring of Harrison Healthcare Center in Harrison, OH. Agney was born in Oneida, KY on September 10, 1927, a daughter of the late Sophia and John Wilson Spurlock.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Gilbert.
Agney is survived by her children: John (Joyce) Gilbert of Harrison, OH, Harvey (Pamela) Gilbert of Cincinnati, OH, and Bonnie Jean (Garry) Miller of Independence, KY.
She is also survived by her sister, Ida Doyle of Independence, KY; 6 grandchildren: Shannon, Brandy, Nickie, Beth Ann, Jo-El, and Jake; and 9 great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Grace, Jace, Caydence, Josie, Paxton, Parker, Caroline, and Mirabel.
In addition to her husband and parents, Agney was preceded in death by her son, Haywood Gilbert, Jr., and by several brothers and sisters.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21st at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Joey Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Irvin Hill Cemetery at Oneida.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 21st at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
