Kit Magnolia Napier passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on August 9, 2020 at Kentucky Children's Hospital in Lexington. Kit was born on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
Kit was a blessing to her family, and they had awaited her birth with joyful expectation. During her 19 weeks on Earth, she touched the lives of more people than most individuals ever do. She loved rattles, tummy time, ocean sounds, and the sea turtle light on the ceiling of her hospital room. She was curious, brave, and spunky.
Kit was the daughter of Ryan and Kari Napier. She is survived by her twin sister, Wren Harlow Napier. Survivors also include grandparents Dennis and Terri Cotton of Manchester, KY, great-grandmother Charlotte Day of Manchester, KY, grandparents Billy and Patty Smith of London, KY, great-grandmother Della Mae Smith of London, KY, grandparents Jerry and Marlene Napier of Manchester, KY, great-grandfather Roscoe Napier of Annville, KY, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and family friends.
Kit was proceeded in death by her great-grandparents--George Cotton, Joan Cotton, Hannie Day, Charlie Smith, Wanda Mae Lawson, and Carlo Lawson--who all greeted her in Heaven. Kit was deeply loved by family, friends, and all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Graveside services for Kit will be conducted on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Cotton Family Cemetery in the Cotton Bend Community. Bro. Dennis Cotton, Pastor Trevor Barton and Pastor Shawn Allen will be presiding. She will be laid to rest near her loved ones at the Cotton Family Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Rominger Funeral Home.
