Daniel C. Smith, 77, of Manchester, KY, passed away Monday, June 15th, at his home. Daniel was born on September 18, 1942, a son of the late Georgia (Davis) and Alex Smith.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Bessie (Mills) Smith.
Daniel is survived by his son, Ricky Wayne Smith and wife Mary, of London; and by four grandchildren: Ricky Wayne Smith, Jr. and Daniel Lee Smith, both of Manchester, Samantha Hardin of Nicholasville, and Victoria Summer of London.
He is also survived by his two brother and two sisters: Don Led Smith and wife Vada Carol, Fred Gibson, Mattie Henson, and Viola Stanley, all of Manchester.
In addition to his wife and parents, Daniel was preceded in death by the following brothers and sisters: William Smith, Clarence Smith, Kenneth Smith, Mildred Smith, Nola Smallwood, and Nancy Henson.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 19th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY. Burial will follow in the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, June 19th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
