Willie Roark was born July 5, 1932 in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of the late Joel and Ester Logan Roark. He was a retired roofer and was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by four children: Rita Gregory, Roy Roark, Mart Roark, and Loyd Roark, all of London; eight siblings: Virginia Davis, Phyllis Miracle, Mary Gaskin, Barbara Mitchell, Loyd Roark, James Roark, Clifford Roark, and Charles Roark all of London; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Willie Guthrie; his first wife Annie Perry Roark-Liford; his second wife, Nancy McQueen Curry; two siblings, Floyd Roark and Edward Roark; and one granddaughter, Bridgett Liford.
Willie Roark departed this life Tuesday, March 24, 2020 being 87 years, 8 months, and 19 days of age.
A private graveside service will be conducted by Bowling Funeral Home.
