Connie Louise Whitaker was born September 16, 1966 in Hyden, KY to the union of the late Ronald and Alta Ruth Jones Browning. Connie was a life-long resident of Leslie County, residing at Wooton, KY at the time of her passing. She was a member of the Smilax Church of Christ, baptized in 1990. She was united in marriage to Everett Earl Whitaker on January 22, 1985 at Wendover, KY. Connie worked formerly as a teachers aide and recently as a dental assistant for Primary Care, prior to becoming ill. She enjoyed antiques and shopping for antiques. She liked to shop, holidays and tending to her flowers. She enjoyed collecting new seeds and planting new flowers. She was a good a cook and was always trying to find new recipes. Above all, Connie cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.
Connie departed from this walk of life on Monday, February 10, 2020. She was 53 years old.
Connie leaves behind, her loving and devoted husband of 35 years, Everett Earl Whitaker of Wooton, KY; two beloved sons, Kevin Earl Whitaker and Cody Whitaker, both of Wooton, KY; one brother, Ronnie Browning of Hyden, KY; three cherished grandchildren, Noah Parker Whitaker, Keelen Ryker Whitaker and Issac Luke Whitaker; a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral: 1:00 P.M. - Friday, February 14, 2020 at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Harold Turner, Danny Day and Brian Overbee officiating.
Entombment: Whitaker Family Cemetery - Wooton, KY
Visitation: 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Thursday, February 13, 2020 at the funeral home chapel.
