Connie Wooton Colwell, age 56 of Confluence, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday November 28, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Jackson Jr. Wooton, and Nancy Jane Stavy Wooton who survives, born June 09, 1963 in Leslie County, Kentucky.
She worked with the postal service at the Thousandsticks Post office and was a clerk at Save-A-Lot in Hyden, Kentucky. She enjoyed working in her flowers, talking to her grandchildren on snap chat, and spending time with her family.
Connie is survived by her mother, Nancy Jane Wooton, one daughter Stephanie Lynn Combs and husband Chucky of Confluence, Kentucky, one son Steven Ray Coldwell and wife Jennifer of Wooton, Kentucky. One sister Rhonda Watts and husband Charles of Hyden, Kentucky, two brothers Rick Wooton and wife Rita of Hyden, Kentucky, Ronnie Wooton of Hyden, Kentucky. Four grandchildren Dylen and Jessa Combs, Jennarae and Colton Coldwell. Along with a host of nieces and nephews and friends and special friend Linda Johnson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the Confluence Baptist Church with Tyler Shields, and Brian Hubbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Wooton-Watts Cemetery at Confluence, Kentucky with Brandon Watts, Justin Watts, Steven Ray Colwell, Ronnie Wooton, Rick Wooton, Jody Bowling, Wayne Collett, and Chucky Watts serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday November 30, 2019 after 5:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
The family has entrusted Wolfe and Sons Funeral Home to carefully handle all the arrangements.
