Essie Jackson, 74, of Manchester, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 20th, at the AdventHealth Manchester Hospital.
Essie was born on November 20, 1944, a daughter of the late Allie (Grubb) and Burchell Jackson.
Essie is survived by her daughter, Donna Jackson of Manchester; and her sister and brothers: Ruby Hubbard and husband Golden of Manchester, Robert Jackson of Georgia, Wesley Jackson and wife Vicky of Georgia, and Lonnie Wayne Jackson of Manchester.
In addition to her parents, Essie is preceded in death by her brother and sisters: JC Jackson, Ruth Jackson and Ella Mae Sizemore.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 24th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Nate Messer officiating. Burial will follow at the Jackson Cemetery on Goose Rock.
Visitation will be held 12:00 PM on Saturday, August 24th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
