Lucille Gregory was born on December 18, 1967, in Corbin, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth Ann Napier Gregory.
Lucille Gregory departed this life at the UK Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky, on Monday, August 19, 2019, being 51 years, 8 months and 1 day of age. She was of the Holiness faith.
She is survived by five brothers, Joey Gregory, Youel Gregory and wife, Virginia, and Cecil Gregory, all of Manchester and Pleaz Ray Gregory and wife, Becky, and Don Gregory, all of London, two sisters, Evie Smith and Georgia Hicks, both of Manchester, nephews, Dustin and Jason Hicks, nieces, Brittany Simpson, Amanda, Hailey and Emily Gregory and Emily and Kaleey Smith, Samantha Estep, Amanda Shepherd and Sandra Root, and she has aunts, uncles and friends she leaves behind that loved her and will miss her.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brother, Rex Allen Gregory and her brother-in-law, Eddie Joe Smith.
Funeral services for Lucille Gregory will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday in the Bowling Funeral Home Chapel with George Roberts and Lyle Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow in the Roots Branch Cemetery in Clay County.
The family of Lucille Gregory will receive friends at Bowling Funeral Home after 10:00 AM Thursday until the funeral hour of 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to Bowling Funeral Home to help with the expenses.
