David Wayne “Bird” Downey, age 43 departed this life on Thursday, August 15, 2019 in Manchester, Kentucky. He was born on Sunday, August 31, 1975 in Manchester, Kentucky to Vanda Downey.
He leaves to mourn his passing his son: Devon Sizemore, his mother: Vanda Downey, his sister: Misty Downey and his brother: Anthony Downey. Also surviving are a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother: Faye Downey, his grandfather: Doug Downey, his uncle: Raleigh Downey and his aunt: Dwanna Kaye Downey.
A celebration of life for David Wayne “Bird” Downey will be conducted on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. He will be laid to rest in the Sandlin Cemetery in the Sandlin Branch Community.
The family will receive friends and loved ones on Monday after 12:00 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
