Wilma Lervina Abner, passed away at the age of 84 on Monday, July 22, 2019, in Cincinnati,Ohio. She was born on July 4, 1935, in Stab, Kentucky, daughter of Oma and Mary (Cress) Burdine. She was a coal miner’s daughter, the youngest of 11 children.
She was married to her spouse Harvie Abner in 1978, in Jellico, Tennessee. She worked and retired from General Electric as an inspector.
After retirement she made heirloom quilts and spent her summers watching her Cincinnati Reds and canning vegetables from Harvie’s garden.
She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Harvie; daughter; Linda Romano; son; Dale (Rita) Anderson; grandchildren, Ryan, Rachel, Ian, Samantha, Michael and Marc; step-children; Devona (Mike)Peters, Christine, Linda and Leonard; step-grandchildren; Heather, Amber, Johnny, Jason, Jeremy. Great grandchildren; Noah and Brooks. Step-great grandchildren; Kylie, Kody, Kallee, Kelcee, Devin and Jaylynn and Rathian.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 26th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Jennifer Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at the Cottongim Cemetery.
