Jerry Hibbard, age 71 departed this life on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born on Wednesday, April 9, 1947 in Oneida, Kentucky to the union of Cecil and Eloise Bowling Hibbard. He worked with heavy equipment, Hibbard Fencing Company, a member of the Baptist Church and was a race car and motorcycle enthusiast as well as a very loving papaw.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Carolyn Brown Hibbard, his sons: Billy Hibbard and his wife Carletta and Nicholas Hibbard and his wife Kari. Also surviving are his grandchildren: Jeremy Hibbard, Jake Hibbard, Jayce Hibbard, Jasper Hibbard and Caroline Hibbard as well as his sisters: Kathy Smith and her husband Donnie and Carol Huff.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Cecil and Eloise Hibbard.
A celebration of life for Jerry Hibbard will be conducted on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Rick Holt and Rev. Todd Hicks will be presiding. Interment will be in the Hacker Cemetery in the Sidell Community.
The Family of Jerry Hibbard will receive friends and family on Tuesday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rominger Funeral Home.
