Virgie Hibbard, 75, of Lockards Creek, departed this life Sunday, September 2nd, at her home surrounded by family. She was the daughter of the late Nancy (Jones) and George Gray.
Virgie is survived by her husband, Dan Hibbard of Lockards Creek, and by four children: Ethelene Hayre and husband Monroe, Danny Hibbard, George Hibbard and wife Debbie, and Tonya Woods and husband Mark, all of Lockards Creek.
She also leaves four grandchildren: Justin Hayre and fiancée Deanna Spurlock, Meghan Hibbard, Chandler Hibbard and Bentley Woods, all of Manchester.
She also leaves two sisters: Judy Bowling and husband Logan Bowling, Jr. and Nora Minton and husband Larry; and her sister-in-law, Carlene Gray.
Virgie is also preceded in death by her grandchild, Morgan Hibbard, and her brothers, James J.B. Gray and Morris Gray.
She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to mourn her passing.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 6th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY, with Robert Hibbard, Wade England and George David Blair officiating. Burial will follow at the Manchester Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
