Mr. Walter Jordan, age 79 departed this life on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born on Saturday, March 4, 1939 in Manchester, Kentucky to the union of Henry and Susie Edwards Jordan. He was a diesel mechanic and a member of the Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife: Norma Allen Jordan, his sons: Jason Lynn Jordan, Walter Dewayne Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, and Coby Blake Tyler Jordan, his step-daughter: Anita Owens and his grandchildren: Wesley Johnson, Chase Lewis, Jeffrey Jordan, Damon Jordan, Dakota Jordan, Trevor Jordan, and Charlie Jordan as well as his great grandson: Eli Johnson. Also surviving are his brothers: Glenn Jordan, Edd Jordan, Marlon Jordan and Herman Jordan all of Manchester, his sisters: Bonnie Maurice of Orlando, Florida, and Maudie Strunk of Barbourville, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Susie Jordan, his step-son: Leroy Sester, his brothers: Victor Jordan and Ray Jordan and his sister: Helen Jordan.
Funeral Services for Mr. Walter Jordan will be conducted on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 12 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Henry Lloyd Deaton and Rev. David Davidson will be presiding. Burial will follow in the Goose Rock Cemetery in the Goose Rock Community.
Visitation will be held on Thursday evening after 6 PM at the Rominger Funeral Home Chapel.
