Irene Davidson was born November 24, 1933, the daughter of Annie (Barger) Spurlock and Forster Spurlock in Oneida, Ky. She passed away on Friday, December 8, at the Baptist Hospital in Corbin, KY.
She is survived by her son, Eric Davidson, Keavy, KY and her grandchildren, John Davidson, Pippa Passes, KY, Joshua Davidson and Nikki Davidson, Keavy, KY and Erin Davidson, Elizabethtown, KY, and several great grandchildren.
She is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: Elvia Spurlock and Forster Spurlock, Jr., Oneida, KY, Mary Hoskins and Pauline Bowling, Big Creek, KY, Julida Harris, Joyce Lainhart, Lonnie Spurlock and Larry Spurlock of Connersville, In., John Spurlock, Hamilton, Oh., and Patty Hensley, Alexandria, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Herman Valentine, and the following brothers and sister, Gerald Spurlock, Paul Spurlock and Sophia Hensley.
Funeral services will be held on Tues., December 12th at 2:00 PM at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY with Sill Lee and Lonnie Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow at the Irvin Hill Cemetery in Oneida.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12th at Britton Funeral Home in Manchester, KY.
