MEMPHIS, TN - The following incident is ongoing and is a joint investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) and the Memphis Police Department (MPD).

TUPELO, MS - According to the Tupelo Police Department, on Saturday morning September 3, 2022, at approximately 5:00 A.M the department (TPD) was notified that a pilot of an airplane, possibly of the King Air type was flying over Tupelo. The pilot had made contact with E911 and was threatening to intentionally crash into a store located on West Main Street in Tupelo.

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (September 2, 2022) — The Kentucky State Police is reporting that the KSP Electronic Crime Branch arrested James E. West II, 39, on charges related to child sexual abuse material. Mr. West was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

When the rain started, no one could have imagined the devastation that would remain after record flooding wiped out entire areas of eastern Kentucky. Thirty-nine people, including four children, perished. Hundreds, if not thousands, of homes are gone. Schools are unusable and public buildings that have served as community landmarks are destroyed or heavily damaged.

LONDON, KY (September 01, 2022)- The Kentucky State Police, London Post which provides coverage for Clay, Laurel, McCreary, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Wayne and Whitley counties, will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints as approved by the Kentucky State Police Policy and Procedures Manual.
