Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Daniel Grigsby arrested Michael Campbell age 41 of Hopper Creek Rd., London on Saturday night July 30, 2016 at approximately 9:21 PM.
The arrest occurred off Hopper Creek Road, approximately 12 miles east of London after Deputy Grigsby was dispatched to a domestic in progress at the residence there.
While en route Deputy Grigsby was advised that the female subject had fled the scene since the male subject was still on scene.
Deputy Grigsby located the female subject at the end of the driveway who stated that the male subject had destroyed property in the residence and had grabbed her by both arms and threw her into a wall.
Michael Campbell was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
