Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Rick Cloyd along with Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested Kenneth Spencer age 35 of Somerset Rd., London on Friday night July 8, 2016 at approximately 9:45 PM.
The arrest occurred on Slate Lick Church Road, approximately 3 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to investigate a single vehicle traffic crash where a white colored Dodge Ram 1500 pickup had apparently ran off the roadway in a curve and drove into a creek.
When deputies arrived at the scene to investigate, this subject stated that he was not hurt in the accident, but that he had too much to drink. Deputies noted this subject could not stand without assistance and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on his breathe.
Deputies determined that this subject was under the influence.
Kenneth Spencer was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
