Three arrested off KY 1376 north in Laurel County

Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Detective Kevin Berry along with Detective Jason Back, Sgt. Robbie Grimes, Deputy Daniel Grigsby, and Deputy Cody Faulconer arrested 3 individuals off Ky 1376, approximately 6 miles north of London on Friday afternoon July 8, 2016 at approximately 3:35 PM.

Arrested was:

  • Gary Shell age 35 of Hwy 1376, East Bernstadt found in possession of crystal methamphetamine packaged for resale, marijuana, US currency, and a set of digital scales and was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine and trafficking in marijuana first offense, a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of driving on DUI suspended license – first offense and numerous other traffic violations, a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on a charge of resisting arrest, and a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging failure to appear in court on charges of unlawful transaction with a minor; possession of drug paraphernalia, custodial interference, and public intoxication – controlled substances.
  • Joshua Davis age 37 of Hwy 1376, East Bernstadt charged on numerous traffic violations.
  • Christopher Johnson age 26 of Langnau School Rd., London charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest charging probation revocation regarding a charge of three counts of theft by unlawful taking – auto, three counts of criminal mischief – first-degree; and probation violation, a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence and other traffic violations, and a Laurel County warrant of arrest obtained by Detective Jason Back charging trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense; and persistent felony offender I.
  • All three individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
