Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Shawn Jackson arrested Charles Miracle age 61 of Appaloosa Trail, Corbin early Saturday morning May 28, 2016 at approximately 12:51 AM.
The arrest occurred on Powers Lane, approximately 8 miles south of London after Deputy Jackson was dispatched to a complaint that a subject was laying in the middle of the road there.
When Deputy Jackson arrived at the scene he located several personal items laying in the middle of the road. Upon further investigation he found this subject laying in the ditch on the right side of the road – this subject stated he had been drinking vodka and beer.
Deputy Jackson noted that this subject was unable to stand under his own power. Deputy Jackson conducted an investigation and determined that this subject was under the influence.
Charles Miracle was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
