WOLLUM, KY MAN ARRESTED AT CRASH SCENE ON U.S. 421 IN CLAY COUNTY

MANCHESTER, KY - Clay County Sheriff, Patrick Robinson, reports that, on Saturday, April 12, 2025 Deputy Dustin Henson received a call in reference to a two vehicle collision on South U.S. 421 in front of Mike's Quick Stop Tobacco store.

Upon arrival at the scene of the accident Deputy Henson made contact with both parties.  During an investigation, Deputy Henson found that Curtis Mills, 50, of Wollum, KY, was driving on a DUI-suspended license and failed to provide proof of insurance.

Curtis Mills was arrested for:

  • DRIVING ON DUI SUSPENDED LICENSE -1ST OFFENSE
  • FAILURE OF NON-OWNER OPERATOR TO MAINTAIN REQ INS/
  • FAILURE TO PRODUCE INSURANCE CARD

This individual was lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
