Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Kyle Gray along with Deputy Charlie Johnson arrested a male subject of Laurel Whitley Rd., London, on Saturday night, April 2, 2016, at approximately 8:25 PM.
Arrested was Arnold Blanton, age 33. The arrest occurred off Laurel Whitley Road, approximately 7 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of an out-of-control male subject at the residence there.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they encountered this male subject, very irate, yelling, cursing, and creating a disturbance there. Deputies learned that this subject had allegedly assaulted his mother and sister – red marks were found on both victims.
Arnold Blanton was charged with two counts of assault – 4th degree – domestic violence; disorderly conduct – second degree; and public intoxication; – this subject was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
