Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Deputy Kyle Gray along with Deputy Brandon Broughton an East Bernstadt man on Sunday night March 13, 2016 at approximately 11:20 P.M.
Arrested was:
Lloyd wagers age 39 of Winding Blade Road. The arrest occurred off Maple Grove Road, approximately 5 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that a male subject and his pregnant girlfriend had been arguing.
When deputies arrived at the scene and conducted an investigation they learned that the male subject had allegedly pushed the female victim inside the residence, and had left the scene and then returned beating on the door of the residence wanting inside.
The female subject stated that she did not want him in the residence – deputies found the male subject hiding in the shower tub in the bathroom. This subject stated he was hiding because he knew he had warrants out on him.
Lloyd wagers was charged with assault 4th degree – domestic violence, disorderly conduct – second degree; public intoxication, resisting arrest, criminal trespassing – second degree and menacing.
After the subject was arrested by deputies this subject began yelling and cursing outside the residence causing a disturbance in the neighborhood
When deputies arrived at the Sheriff's office to process this subject, he started struggling with deputies, but was brought under control. This subject admitted taking Suboxone and Neuotin.
This subject was also charged on a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court regarding a charge of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting, a Laurel County bench warrant of arrest for failure to appear in court regarding a charge of theft by unlawful taking – shoplifting, a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging theft by unlawful taking – firearm and theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000, and a Laurel County warrant of arrest charging theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000.
Lloyd wagers was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
