Laurel County, KY - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Sgt. Larry Parrott arrested a male subject of East Bernstadt on Saturday night, March 12, 2016, at approximately 11:09 PM.
Arrested was Marlow Baker, age 31. The arrest occurred on KY 490 approximately 7 miles north of London when this subject came by the scene of a criminal investigation driving a red colored Toyota Corolla and deputies there knew there were outstanding warrants on this subject. Deputies conducted an investigation determining that this subject was under the influence – this subject stated he had taken Suboxone.
Marlow Baker was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense; driving on DUI suspended license – first offense; failure to wear seatbelts; failure of owner to maintain required insurance – first offense; and numerous other traffic violations.
