Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Shawn Jackson along with Deputy Jamie Grimes and Deputy Kyle Gray arrested Victoria Baran age 22 of Piney Hill Rd., Corbin on Saturday night September 19, 2015 at approximately 10:32 PM.
The arrest occurred off Piney Hill Road, approximately 11 miles south of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint of a female subject out-of-control at her mother's house possibly armed with a knife and under the influence.
When deputies arrived at the scene this subject was outside the residence and deputies conducted an investigation learning that this subject had allegedly gotten into a physical altercation with her mother and had assaulted her mother by scratching her leaving red marks.
Victoria Baran was charged with assault – fourth degree – domestic violence and was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
