(SILVER SPRING, MD) — The teen still at large after escaping Monday evening from a state juvenile detention facility in Baltimore County was arrested Wednesday morning without incident at a Montgomery County motel.
The 17-year-old was arrested shortly after 6:00 a.m. today at a Silver Spring motel. He was arrested without incident and will be returned to the custody of the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services. The youth was located and arrested by members of the Maryland State Apprehension Team, who had been involved in the search for him since he escaped.
The teen was the second of two youths who escaped Monday evening from the Charles Hickey School in Baltimore County. The first escapee was arrested Monday night.
