ELIZABETHTOWN, KY. - Kentucky State Police Post 4 in Elizabethtown has made an arrest in the May 31, 2015 Vine Grove murder of Jason Scott.
Members of the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force located Timothy G. Cruz age 48 of Rineyville, Ky. at a Louisville hotel at approximately 3:55 P.M. this afternoon and took him into custody without incident.
Mr. Cruz was charged by KSP Post 4 Detectives with Murder and other outstanding warrants.
He was subsequently lodged in the Hardin County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
KSP was assisted throughout the investigation by the Vine Grove Police Dept, Radcliff Police Dept, Louisville Metro Police Dept, and the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force. T
he case is still under investigation by KSP Post 4 Detectives.
