Laurel County, Ky. - Sheriff John Root is reporting that Deputy Larry Parrott arrested Amanda Leger age 32 of Slate Lick Rd., London on Monday night May 4, 2015 at approximately 8:07 P.M.
The arrest occurred on Broad Street in London after Deputy Parrott received a complaint that this subject was at Laurel County Detention Center and had been visiting a prisoner and had created a disturbance.
When Deputy Parrott located this subject and conducted an investigation, he determined that she was under the influence. In addition, she continued to create a disturbance.
Also, Deputy Parrott found this subject in possession of a bottle of pills belonging to someone else.
Amanda Leger was charged with public intoxication – controlled substances: disorderly conduct – second degree; and possession of a controlled substance.
Amanda Leger was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
