(LONDON, KY.) – On Thursday, March 05, 2015 troopers from Post 11, along with Detectives from KSP Cannabis Suppression Unit executed two search warrants at two separate residences in Rockcastle County that yielded the arrests of eight (8) individuals also the seizure of a 2014 Nissan passenger car, twenty (20) firearms and $6,032.00 in US currency.
The first search warrant was executed at a residence on Kelsey Lane in Mount Vernon, KY where the following individuals were arrested.
Jeffrey R. Phelps, 42, of Brodhead, KY charged with two (2) counts of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense.
Rhonda C. Hurd, 42, of Mount Vernon, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
Megan M. Alcorn, 19, of Brodhead, KY charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Marijuana Possession.
Gregory A. Phelps, 20, of Brodhead, KY charged with Marijuana Possession, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.
Casey L. Renner, 33, of Mount Vernon, KY charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
The second search warrant was executed at a residence on Big Cave Road in Rockcastle County where the following individuals were arrested.
Charlie R. Page, 78, of Orlando, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense.
Dorothy B. Page, 66, of Orlando, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense.
Mary A. Reed, 47, of Orlando, KY charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense.
All eight (8) individuals were lodged in the Rockcastle County Detention Center.
The search warrants, seizures and arrests resulted from a criminal investigation conducted by KSP Detectives Ryan Loudermilk and Chris Roberts. Assisting in the arrests were Trooper Ben Graves, Trooper Scottie Pennington, Trooper Adam Hensley and Cannabis Suppression Detective Darren Allen. The investigation is continuing.
