FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 10, 2013) – The remains of 178 individuals will be re-interred at the Eastern State Hospital Cemetery on Tuesday, May 14 after a short ceremony beginning at 11 a.m.

The ceremony will be held in the gymnasium of the Megowan Building on the ESH campus at 4th Street and Newtown Pike. A short graveside memorial will follow at the cemetery.

Ceremony speakers include Dr. Pollack and officials from Finance and Administration Cabinet, Bluegrass Community and Technical College, the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID), Eastern State Hospital and Fayette County Coroner.

Media and members of the public who wish to attend can access the hospital campus from either 4th Street or Loudon Avenue.
