LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Jared Hale along with drug interdiction unit Justin Taylor arrested William Stuber, JR, age 27 of Williamsburg, KY early Friday morning April 11, 2025 at approximately 4:04 AM.
The arrest occurred on W. Cumberland Gap Parkway approximately 11 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a brown colored Kia Soul whose driver was observed unrestrained and whose vehicle had a heavily damaged windshield.
During the stop the driver was found in possession of suspected Hydrocodone. In addition, he was found with Suboxone not in a proper container.
An investigation was conducted on the driver, William Stuber, JR, who was determined to be under the influence.
William Stuber, JR was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – second offense
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – hydrocodone
- Failure to wear seatbelts
- Obstructed vision or windshield
- Possession of a controlled substance – third-degree
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
