LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Carly Dorraugh arrested Brittany Lauren Stephens, age 36, of London on Saturday afternoon March 1, 2025 at approximately 4:22 PM.
The arrest occurred off Paris Karr Road, approximately 10 miles southwest of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communication Ctr. to an out-of-control subject there.
Upon arrival at the scene an investigation was conducted and the suspect there was determined to be under the influence. This individual reported some criminal violations that were determined to not have occurred following an extensive investigation.
Brittany Lauren Stephens was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Falsely reporting an incident to law enforcement
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
