LONDON, KY - London City Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Hershel Pangle, age 46, was arrested by the London Police Department.
Detectives were attempting to serve an outstanding Indictment Warrant on Hershel Pangle at the Corbin Inn (formerly Knight’s Inn) located off I-75 at Exit 29 in Corbin.
Upon contact with Pangle, he attempted to flee from the detectives.
After a short foot chase and a brief struggle, Sgt. Inman and Detective Josh Morgan were able to take Pangle into custody and later lodge him in the Laurel County Detention Center.
Hershel Pangle was served on his Indictment Warrant for:
Failure to Comply w/ Sex Offender Registration (1st Offense).
Pangle was additionally charged with:
- Fleeing or Evading Police 2nd Degree
- Resisting Arrest
