LONDON, KY - London City Police Chief Jerry Hollon is reporting that on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at approximately 4:14 am, LPD Officer Coty Arnold arrested Jesse Jones and Preston Lambert for Burglary.
Officer Arnold learned of a possible burglary on 5th Street which was related to another burglary in which Sgt. Travis Napier from the Laurel County Sheriff's Office was also working.
Through investigation, Officer Arnold and Sgt. Napier was able to determine a location for the suspects.
After speaking with the suspects, Officers found that they matched images seen from surveillance footage of the burglaries. The Officers were also able to recover numerous items which had been taken during the burglaries. Jesse Jones and Preston Lambert were both placed under arrest for the burglary incidents.
Both Jessie Jones, age 19, and Preston Lambert, age 19, were charged with:
- Burglary 2nd Degree
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center.
