BARDSTOWN, KY - The Nelson County Sheriff's Office (NCSO) is reports that on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 at approximately 1:21 AM, NCSO Deputy Logan Crady conducted a traffic stop on a Silver Nissan Altima for Careless Driving.
During the course of the traffic stop K-9 Turbo was utilized and alerted on the vehicle.
During the search of the vehicle several individual bags of methamphetamine was located.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as Nicholas Adam Ballard, 39, of Bardstown, KY was taken into custody and transported to the Nelson County Correctional Center.
Cash and drugs seized after K-9 alert on vehicle
Nicholas Ballard was charged with:
- Careless Driving
- Operating on Suspended Operator’s License
- Trafficking in Controlled Substances, 1st Degree
This individual was lodged in the Nelson County Correctional Center.
