LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Allen Turner along Deputy Keith Dinsmore arrestedLaurel County Correctional Center age 54 of London on Wednesday morning July 24, 2024 at approximately 10:57 AM.
The arrest occurred off Barbourville Road, approximately 7 miles South of London while Deputy Keith Dinsmore was attempting to serve a warrant of possession.
During that attempt of service a male at the residence barricaded himself in a bedroom in the residence refusing to exit. Following several minutes of verbal commands, the suspect exited, momentarily struggling with deputies before being taken into custody.
This individual was found with Suboxone not in a proper container in his possession.
Jerry Wayne Anthony was charged with:
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
- Resisting arrest
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
