LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts along with Deputy Zach Allen and Deputy Austyn Weddle arrested Teddy Osborne age 37 of London on Sunday night June 30, 2024 at approximately 10:47 PM.
The arrest occurred off High Moore Road approximately 7 miles west of London after deputies were dispatched by London – Laurel County 911 Communications Ctr. to a complaint of an apparent intoxicated male trying to fight other individuals there.
Upon arrival at the scene deputies learned that the male suspect fled on foot as deputies were pulling into the driveway.
When deputies left, the suspect returned to the scene and began fighting again and ran into the woods again as deputies responded a second time.
Deputy Roberts stayed behind at the residence following the last complaint, and the suspect reappeared again and following a short foot chase where the suspect attempted to hide in a pool, deputies were able to make an arrest on the suspect.
Teddy Osborne was charged with:
- Disorderly conduct – second-degree
- Alcohol intoxication
- Fleeing or evading police – second-degree – on foot
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel Circuit Court indictment warrant of arrest charging:
- Failure to comply with sex offender registration – first offense
- Persistent felony offender II
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
