CORBIN, MAN WANTED IN KNOX COUNTY TAKEN INTO CUSTODY DURING COMPLAINT INVESTIGATION IN LAUREL COUNTY, KY

LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Cyruss McVey arrested Marion Roaden age 53 of Corbin on Wednesday night May 22, 2024 at approximately 7:08 PM.

LSO logo BLACKandGOLD John Root 200The arrest occurred off Robert E Cox Road approximately 10 miles South of London after Deputy McVey was dispatched to a complaint from an individual that someone was terrorizing the neighborhood.

Upon arrival at the scene, Deputy McVey made contact with the complainant and determined that the allegations were unfounded.

In addition, while conducting his investigation, the complainant gave false identifying information to Deputy McVey.

Upon determining the individual’s true identity, it was determined that he was wanted on two outstanding warrants.

Marion Roaden was charged with:

  • Giving officer false identifying information
  • Falsely reporting an incident to law enforcement

In addition, this subject was charged on a Knox District Court complaint warrant of arrest charging:

  • Terroristic threatening – third-degree

In addition, this subject was charged on a second Knox District Court complaint warrant of arrest charging:

  • Terroristic threatening – third-degree

This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
