BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Knox County, Ky. Sheriff's Department is reporting that on Thursday, April 17, 2025, William Joshua Cawood, age 36 of Corbin, KY was arrested on a Knox County Indictment Warrant.
Knox County Deputy SGT Jesse Smith, as part of his duties as a Trained Field Officer (TFO) with the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force and along with other U.S. Marshals arrested William Joshua Cawood for:
- Seven (7) counts of Sexual Abuse - 1st Degree
- One (1) count of Sexual Abuse -1st Degree, Victim Under 12 Years of Age
Original charges were filed on March 28, 2025.
William Cawood was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
