Congressman Rogers Names Leslie County Kentucky Resident as Deputy District Director

HAZARD, KY -- U.S. Rep. Harold "Hal" Rogers (KY-05) announced Andrea Begley as his new Deputy District Director for Kentucky's Fifth Congressional District. Begley, a life-long resident of Leslie County, has served as a Field Representative in Eastern Kentucky since August 2016.

"Andrea's new elevated role is a reflection of her hard work and dedication to the people of Southern and Eastern Kentucky. Our local leaders know and trust her when they need assistance with federal issues and major community projects," said Congressman Rogers. "I'm proud to have a strong district team who enthusiastically serves our 33 counties every single day."

Begley is based in Congressman Rogers' Hazard office. She will continue working alongside District Director Carlos Cameron and Field Representative Tamra Wilson in the Somerset office, as well as Field Representative Adam Rice in the Prestonsburg office. In addition to his field staff, Rep. Rogers also retains a stellar casework staff to help individuals with federal issues in his offices in Ashland, Hazard, Prestonsburg and Somerset, Kentucky.

"It's an honor to serve Congressman Rogers, and to be his hands and feet in our widespread district when he is fulfilling his duties in Washington," said Begley. "We wake up every day asking what we can do to help our communities, and that is our ultimate goal, to make Southern and Eastern Kentucky a better place to live."

Andrea was born and raised in Leslie County, where she continues to reside with her husband, Tate, and their children, Tatum and Will Begley.
