ESCAPED INMATE CAPTURED AND TWO ARRESTS REPORTED IN CLAY COUNTY, KENTUCKY

MANCHESTER, KY - According to the Clay County Sheriff's Office: Sheriff Patrick Robinson is reporting the capture of an escaped inmate on Monday, June 3rd and (2) two other separate arrests on Tuesday, June 4th in Clay County.

Sheriff Patrick Robinson announced these arrests by the Clay County Sheriff's Office via social media. 

To the best of our knowledge, the three arrest incidents were unrelated.

  • 1. On 6/3/24, through a joint effort between CCSO and MPD and surveillance technology, Skylar Hubbard was captured. Pictured is Officer Brayden Gibbs, Officer Derick Carr, Skylar Hubbard, Sgt. Wes Brumley, and Deputy Dustin Henson.
  • 2. On 6/4/24, Sgt. Wes Brumley arrested Curtis Jolly on the charges of Careless Driving, Operating Motor Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol 3rd, License to be in Possession, Failure to Produce Insurance Card.
  • 3. On 6/4/24, Sgt. Wes Brumley arrested Joshua Stapleton on the charges of Disorderly Conduct 2nd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree, Menacing, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, and Resisting Arrest.
