BARBOURVILLE, KY - According to Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a death investigation.
On Monday, May 6, 2024, at approximately 6:00 am LT Sam Mullins responded to a call of an unresponsive male at a residence on Dripping Springs Road in Hinkle.
61-year-old Rickey Jordan of Hinkle, KY was pronounced dead at the scene by the Knox County Corner.
There is no foul play suspected surrounding his death at this time.
The body has been sent to Frankfort for an autopsy to verify the cause of death.
The investigation is continuing by LT Sam Mullins.
Knox EMS and Richland Fire Department also responded to the scene.
