LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Kamella Coleman age 28 of London early Sunday morning April 7, 2024 at approximately 12:48 AM.
The arrest occurred on Barbourville Road, approximately 7 miles South of London following a traffic stop conducted on a gray Dodge Charger stopped for weaving on the roadway and traveling at a very slow speed.
During the stop the driver, identified as Kamella Coleman age 28 of London, KY was determined to be under the influence.
Kamella Coleman was charged with:
- Operating a motor vehicle under the influence – first offense
- Driving too slow for traffic conditions
- Careless driving
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
