MANCHESTER, KY - The Manchester Police Department (MPD) is announcing that: From April 13th through Saturday, June 1st, 2024, MPD will be conducting road safety checkpoints throughout the city limits of Manchester.
The checkpoints will target driving impairment, seat belt usage and child safety seat enforcement.
The MPD checkpoints will be conducted at:
- U.S. Hwy 421 around the old CBS
- Greenbriar Road and north U.S. 421
- Hwy 80 in city limits
- Town Branch Road/Muddy Gap Road intersection
- East Manchester/White St.
These safety checkpoints are to maximize the safety of local and visiting motorists traveling through Manchester and Clay County.
