LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Bobby Roberts arrested Robert Gibson age 41 of Livingston, KY early Monday morning April 1, 2024 at approximately 1:44 AM.
The arrest occurred on KY 909 approximately 9 miles north of London after this subject who was a passenger in a car and was determined to be under the influence.
During the investigation and arrest this individual was found in possession of suspected Methamphetamine and pills believed to be Gabapentin.
This subject stated that he had taken Meth approximately 2 hours earlier.
Robert Gibson was charged with:
- Public intoxication – controlled substances
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense
- Prescription controlled substances not in proper container – first offense
This individual was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
