LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that: Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Matt Walker along with Deputy Tommy Houston arrested two individuals on Thursday afternoon March 21, 2024 at approximately 1:43 PM.
The arrest occurred at a residence off E. Pittsburg Church Rd., approximately 2 miles north of London after deputies were dispatched to a complaint that subjects were staying in a residence that did not belong to them and that they did not have permission to be in.
When deputies arrived at the scene they knocked on the door identifying themselves and could hear movement inside the residence.
The home owner gave deputies permission to enter the residence where they found two subjects who they arrested.
One of the two individuals had an outstanding warrant.
The two individuals are identified as: Thomas Douglas Scott age 56 of London, KY and Leisha Marie Dean age 58 also of London, KY.
Thomas Douglas Scott was charged with:
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
In addition, this individual was charged on a Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest charging:
- Flagrant nonsupport – allegedly this individual owes arrearage in the amount of $10,855.69
Leisha Marie Dean was charged with:
- Criminal trespassing – third-degree
These two individuals were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
