LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London City Police Chief Chuck Johnson are reporting that: A wanted fugitive, Patrick Anthony Sizemore age 30 of Fariston Road, London was arrested overnight February 29, 2024 at approximately 11:55 PM.
The arrest occurred off Davenport Lane, approximately 8 miles South of London after information was developed on the whereabouts of an individual wanted on a parole violation warrant and a felony theft warrant along with the possible location of a 1999 Chevrolet Silverado which had been reported stolen earlier in the week from a business off American Greeting Card Road.
London City Police officers teamed up with Laurel Sheriff's deputies and upon arrival at the scene officers located the reported stolen vehicle in a parking lot of apartments there. The pewter colored Silverado had been spray painted black with a blue hood.
Officers noted observing the suspect peeking out a window of an apartment there. Officers gained entry to the apartment noting they were first met by a 16 year-old female juvenile who was removed as she attempted to confront officers.
The suspect, Patrick Sizemore was found hiding in a pile of clothes in a closet and following a scuffle with officers, the suspect was taken into custody.
Patrick Anthony Sizemore was charged by both agencies with:
- Receiving stolen property $1000 or more but under $10,000
- Criminal mischief – second-degree
- Unlawful transaction with a minor – third-degree
- Resisting arrest
Also, a parole violation warrant charging absconding parole supervision and failure to report to parole officer as directed regarding a conviction in Laurel Circuit Court on charges of:
- Trafficking in a controlled substance – first-degree – first offense – methamphetamine
- Theft by unlawful taking over $10,000
- Theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but under $10,000
- Theft by unlawful taking
In addition, this subject was charged on a Laurel District Court complaint warrant of arrest obtained by Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Tommy Houston charging:
- Receiving stolen property $1000 or more but under $10,000 regarding a stolen Jeep Wrangler not yet recovered.
Patrick Sizemore was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.

The 16 year-old female juvenile was detained and continued to be confrontational, she was transported to the Boyd County Regional Juvenile Detention Center.
