LONDON, KY - Laurel County Sheriff John Root is reporting that Laurel Sheriff's Deputy Zack Allen obtained a warrant of arrest for John Lee Couch, age 44 of Manchester, KY based on his investigation into the theft of a motor vehicle.
The vehicle theft occurred off East Laurel Road near the Clay County line on Friday, December 29, 2023.
On Thursday, January 25, 2024, KSP Trooper Justin Vanhook executed the warrant on Couch at the Clay County Detention Center where she is incarcerated on unrelated charges. KSP Detective Logan Gay assisted.
John Lee Couch was charged with:
- Theft by unlawful taking.
This individual is currently lodged in the Clay County Detention Center.
